Overview
The Prestige 1100 is the bed people ask for by name. Fifty-two high-power body lamps, four Ultra Performance Plus facial lamps and a set of dedicated shoulder tanners put light where conventional beds miss it, and the shoulders are exactly where most beds miss it. If you have ever finished a run of sessions with a good tan everywhere except the tops of your shoulders and collarbones, that is the gap the Prestige is built to close.
The session ceiling is ten minutes. That is short for a lie-down bed, and it tells you something about the output. This is a Super Bed, and the whole design is about delivering a full result inside a short visit rather than a slow result inside a long one.
What makes ten minutes in a bed this strong comfortable is Climatronic Plus. It is air conditioning rather than a fan: the system conditions the air it moves instead of simply pushing warm room air across you. Heat is the usual reason people cut a session short, and the Prestige removes that reason.
The four Ultra Performance Plus facials are adjustable, so you control how much of the total goes to your face. Between those, the shoulder tanners and the fifty-two body lamps, the coverage is as complete as a lie-down bed gets without moving to high pressure. Who it is for
Choose the Prestige 1100 if you want a full-strength session that finishes in ten minutes, and particularly if your shoulders and upper chest have lagged behind in other beds. It is the most complete conventional coverage we offer.
It suits people who already tan without difficulty and want results in fewer visits, and anyone who finds standard beds uncomfortably warm. Climatronic Plus makes a real difference at this power level.
If you are brand new to tanning, start in the Passion 40/3 and move up once you have a base. If you already have a deep tan and want to hold it with the fewest possible visits, look at the Open Sun 1050.
Before and after your session
- Before. Come with clean, dry skin and no make-up, perfume or sunscreen. Anything on the surface blocks light unevenly and shows up as patches.
- Eyewear is not optional. Closed eyelids do not block UV. Ask at the desk if you did not bring any.
- During. Use the timer the staff set for you rather than the maximum on the bed. Colour is built over several sessions, not in one long one.
- After. Moisturise while your skin is still warm, and keep doing it daily. Dry skin sheds, and the tan goes with it.
- Between sessions. Leave at least 24 hours, and longer on a high-pressure bed. Drink water and avoid long hot showers, which strip moisture.
- Tell us about medication. Some prescriptions make skin far more light-sensitive. Mention anything new before your session.
