Overview
The Classic 600 Turbo Power is a Super Bed built the straightforward way: fifty VHO-RUVA lamps running the full length of the bed, four adjustable VIT 2.3 high-pressure facial lamps, and five separate shoulder tanning lamps. No misting, no aromatherapy, no light show. All of the engineering went into lamp output and airflow.
VHO-RUVA lamps are the reason people who tan in this bed tend to stay in it. The output is weighted further toward UV-A than a standard lamp, which builds colour that looks deeper and holds better, while still producing enough UV-B to develop a base in the first place. It sits between a conventional bed and a full high-pressure unit, and for a lot of skin types that is exactly the right place to be.
The four facial lamps are individually adjustable, so you control how much light your face takes. The five shoulder lamps address the same gap the other Super Beds do: on a flat bed the shoulders finish lighter than everything else, and dedicated lamps fix that.
Cooling comes from a five-station airflow system rather than a single fan, so air is spread along the length of the bed instead of blown at your middle. The Classic 600 Turbo Power is at our North Arlington location, and our staff will set your session length from your skin type and how recently you last tanned.

Who it is for
Choose the Classic 600 Turbo Power if you want Super Bed strength without the extras, and you would rather the session go into lamps and airflow than into misting and light shows.
It is a strong choice for people who tan regularly, want reliable and even colour including through the shoulders, and prefer to control their own facial exposure, since the four VIT 2.3 facials adjust independently.
If you want the spa side of things, the Affinity 800 is the bed for you. If you want the longest-lasting colour in the fewest visits, look at the Open Sun 1050. This one is for people who simply want a very good conventional tan.
Before and after your session
- Before. Come with clean, dry skin and no make-up, perfume or sunscreen. Anything on the surface blocks light unevenly and shows up as patches.
- Eyewear is not optional. Closed eyelids do not block UV. Ask at the desk if you did not bring any.
- During. Use the timer the staff set for you rather than the maximum on the bed. Colour is built over several sessions, not in one long one.
- After. Moisturise while your skin is still warm, and keep doing it daily. Dry skin sheds, and the tan goes with it.
- Between sessions. Leave at least 24 hours, and longer on a high-pressure bed. Drink water and avoid long hot showers, which strip moisture.
- Tell us about medication. Some prescriptions make skin far more light-sensitive. Mention anything new before your session.
